In the Bubble Bobble game you play one or pair of little dragons against enemies. Dragons can blow bubbles to catch enemies inside. After that you should jump on bubble with an enemy trapped inside and pop them! To increase your score pick up items: fruits, vegetables, diamonds, jewels etc. You can also pick up some bonus items to make your journey easy. Some of them increase speed, range of bubbles' firing, others give you a chance to get more score points or extra lives. On some stages you can pop special bubbles that appear from holes in the top or/and bottom of stage. These special bubbles will help you destroy monsters in different ways.

Puzzle Bobble 1
Bubble Bobble is not only one of the most popular arcade ever created, but also a personal favourite of GamesNostalgia. This 2D cartoon action platformer designed by Fukio Mitsuji (aka MTJ) was released by Taito initially in 1986. Thanks to its huge success the game was ported to mostly all consoles and home computers.
The Amiga version, released in 1987, developed by Software Creations and published by Firebird, is considered one of the most faithful. Software Creations was a small British studio that become popular thanks to the Commodore 64 version of Bubble Bobble, a conversion which won critical acclaim and commercial success.
